As the evenings get darker, there is nothing more pleasant than staying indoors, enjoying the warmth, and snuggling up on the sofa to watch a movie.

So, here are some of our suggestions:

'Marley & Me' - A touching story about a couple and their mischievous Labrador Retriever, Marley, and the lessons they learn about love and life.



'The Secret Life of Pets' - An animated film that explores what pets do when their owners are away, featuring a loveable group of dogs and their adventures in the city. This movie features Buddy, who is a laid-back Dachshund, Gidget, a white Pomeranian, Max, a Jack Russell, Mel the Pug and Duke, who is thought to be a Newfoundland.



'Hachi: A Dogs Tale' - Based on a true story, this film follows the bond between a man and his loyal dog, Hachiko, who waits for him at the train station every day. The dog is an Akita breed.





'Lady and the Tramp' - A classic Disney animated film about the romance between a refined Cocker Spaniel and a street-smart Mutt.


'A Dogs Purpose' - A heart-warming tale that follows a Mastiff dog through multiple

lives as he discovers his purpose and the impact he has on the lives of his owners.



'Homeward Bound - The Incredible Journey' - The story of two dogs, a Golden Retriever and an American Bulldog, and a cat who embark on an epic journey to find their way home.


'Best in Show' - A hilarious mockumentary that follows various dog owners and their pets as they prepare for a prestigious dog show. Some of the breeds in this movie include a Norwich Terrier, a Bloodhound, a Weimaraner and a Shih Tzu.


'The Call of the Wild' - Based on Jack London's novel, this adventure film showcases the relationship between and man and his dog in the wilderness. The original story was based on Buck who described as a half St. Bernard and half Scotch Shepherd Dog.
